Business Development Manager

Job Summary


The Business Development Manager develops positioning and selecting strategies used to secure business. He/she identifies and targets optimum market points to securing high potential jobs. BD managers stream line processes and procedures for the bidding process. They are key leaders to the industrial department, providing market intelligence and are principal in the development of opportunities within new and established markets. They are accountable for the “bid/no bid” & “bid to award” process and creating a culture of transparency, integrity and accountability within the industrial business development division. The Business Development Manager is part of the Industrial Leadership Team and works with team members to provide leadership and develop streamlined processes & procedures for the division. He/she leads a team of two and assist with the coaching and development of team members. The Business Development Manager reports directly to the Industrial General Manager.
