SPECIFICATIONS

Steel Trafford Panels are produced from pre-finished galvanized Z275 (G-90) sheet steel substrate, conforming to ASTM-A 635M/A 635M with a "Barrier Series" or "Barriercoat" (PVC) plastisol coating. Both sides of the sheet are coated with a 0.20mm (8 mils) thick (PVC) plastisol applied over a specially formulated primer. This two-sided application delivers the needed protection to the exterior and interior surfaces of the cladding. Building owners can specify that the galvanized steel substrate receives a microcrystalline zinc phosphate chemical treatment that, when combined with the specially formulated primer coating, ensures long-term adhesion, durability and outstanding red rust resistance at a properly sheared drip edge. It is available in a wide range of proven colors, offering good color stability.

The "Barrier Series" or "Barriercoat" thick coating offers a remarkably effective lasting barrier against chemically aggressive environments. The thick plastisol coating impedes attack by alkalies, acids, salts and bleaching agents. The textured coating resists through-coating impact damage.
